Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. it is very normal for small children to have slightly warm/hot head palms and soles but if the growth of the child is proper no need to worry about the warm head palm and soles.
you have to consider it as fevder only if the temperature in the armpit is 100°f / 37.7°c or more.
the warm head palms and soles are due to hyperdynamic circulation in these areas (that is necessary for development) which is normal.
RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. So during that time you should take the temperature of the child if it is 99°F or more than that that means your child is having fever that time that case you can give paracetamol but if it is below 99 then there is no need as the child can have a normal body temperature which could be little warmer than usual but that’s completely normal
