Q.

hello.. my baby is 3 months old now.. his weight is 4.8Kg.. what should I do for increase weight of my baby ..because he doesn't breastfeed properly.. when I feed him either he sleep quickly or he play after 3-5 mins feeding.. I'm worried for his proper growth and health too .pleased suggest me what should I do??

A. feed well.See in such cases the child needs specialist care always. So try to follow with the same doctor and do not get anxious with s variety of opinion. Focus on treatment ok.See when baby has any new complain then better avoid any self medication. Show to a doctor for right and timely diagnosis and treatment. Thays a safe procedure.

A. Hello dear parent! It all depends on your child’s birth weight. It is said to be ideal if the baby doubles its birth weight by 6 months and triples by one year completion. There should be a minimum weight gain of 400gms to 500gms in a month. Continue breastfeeding. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug daily massage oil. Speak to your doctor for further advice.
