hello!my baby is 18 days old he is not gaining his wait what's the reason behind?

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician2 years agoA. baby is 18 months Weight gain depeens upon birth weight and maturity of the baby if the baby is active and feeding adequately don't worry about it give milk shake with dry fruit powder for weight gain get deworming done and give iron supplements

Babies they loose their weight in the initial days after birth. But the weight starts to increase after that. so no need to worry.
Feed for longer time from one breast so that the baby gets both fore milk and hind milk.
hind milk is rich in fat and thicker which will help in weight gain of the baby
