Try offering small portions 3 meals a day along with 1–2 healthy snacks. Give a variety of soft foods like khichdi, dal, curd, mashed vegetables, soft roti soaked in dal, and soft fruits. Let your baby explore different tastes and textures, and encourage self-feeding with safe, soft finger foods. Breast milk or formula is still important at this age. Avoid adding extra salt or sugar to your baby's food. If your baby consistently eats only 1–2 spoons, is not gaining weight, has fewer wet diapers, or seems unwell, please consult your pediatrician.
