Q.

hello.. my baby is 1.9month old his weight is 10kg.. is it normal? am so worried plz suggest me..

A. the weight of the child is on the lower side it is important for you to know that the weight of the child depends upon the genetic patterns and by that pattern only the weight gain in child is seen. it also depends upon the diet the child is taking. so it is advisable that you should meet the doctor who will tell you whether there is anything to worry or not and whether the child requires any health supplements. the child should be given different flavours and recipes made from cereals pulses vegetable milk and fruits daily in small amount. you can add ghee groundnuts dryfruits in the diet and this will help in improving the weight of the child. you can go through many recipes for children in different flavour and taste for your child on firstcry

A. hi dear mom..weight is bit lower side....please consult your paediatrician for same....as of now give well balanced meal that should include fresh vegetables fruits legume dairy products poultry items and dry fruits. happy parenting
