Q.

hello my baby has ear infection since a month now. I visited multiple docts including ENT specialist who said jus wait and watch till the puss come out and then go for a swab test. The puss isn't flowing but it is a lil hardened jelly type thing coming out of her ear. What do you suggest we do. she doesn't have any fever but keeps tugging her ears.

A. baby is very small. ideally too much medications are also not required. and gor such small babies grommets may not be advised also. show him once. he will guide you well and unnecessarily not prescribe any medicine or treatment.

A. it must be really irritating for the baby and hence she keeps touching her ear. with frequent ear infections babies will develop gluexear and then all the liquid needs to be drained. as far as I know grommets need to be inserted for this. otherwuse how will the liquid drain out? on the other hand if not grommets then some nasal spray is required to clear the nose. only then the ear infection will go away. it's necessary fir you consult a good ENT. which city are you in?
