Q.
Hello, my 4 months old baby boy poops very 3 hours once from past 4 days, I went to our pediatrician but he said normal.(baby is normal active) Why this happening, how to control this. Please please help me out. Thanks in advance

it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also.
it is also normal if they are passing stool more than 6 or 7 times per day.
if the consistency of the the stool is Semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as the colour (the colour can range from yellow brown green to black) of the stool.
also straining while passing urine and stool is normal.
Do burping for 15 to 20 minutes

Sonam PrasadMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hi dear Babies this age should have several wet diapers a day and regular bowel movements. Some may poop every day; others may poop every few days. This is normal as long as the poop is soft. Let your doctor know if it gets hard, dry, or difficult to pass.
