hello mam..im 23week pregnant..can i get covid vaccine now.. will it effect baby? and i have placenta pervia also..

A. Yes, you can take covid vaccine. Make sure that the day before vaccination keep yourself hydrated, get adequate sleep and have a light meal just before going for the vaccination. If you have any history of prior allergic reaction to any medication then talk to your gynaecologist first. Post vaccination If you experience any symptoms like fever, body pains, headaches, joint pains then take paracetamol . Drink plenty of fluids and adequate rest. If you have a sore forearm then applying a heat pack will provide relief.

A. Recently goverment of india approve covid vaccine for pregnanat woman also so you can take this vaccine . you can go through ministry of health website and read the guideline followed the pregnant woman.
