Q.

Hello Mam, Hope doing well, I have a 50 day old baby girl, and I had a consanguineous marriage (third generation). Currently baby seems healthy, and her organs appear normal. Would you recommend genetic test to evaluate her hormonal growth or check for any potential genetic conditions, (like Turner syndrome, etc..) even though she is doing well so far? Thanks

A. If you had a history in either of the families in last four generations any time that you may have heard of or known of then yes it would be good to get it done because at the end of the day when we get married the similar cast of community or somewhere in the long run in the family there are possibilities of having these genes and genetics in coming generations so yes to be on the safer side you can actually get it done
