Hello is swine flu vaccine is required for 1 year 6 months baby?

A. Influenza vaccine or the flu vaccine basically protects against different strains of flu viruses including swine Flu virus which causes symptoms specially in children with less immunity. Though it is not a mandatory vaccine but it should be given to every child to protect against different flu infection which is very common every year . this vaccine is given after 6 months of age and initially two doses are given one month apart then every year single dose is required . sIt is not documented but still studies suggest that to some extent it may give partial protection against covid infection .

If The doctors are advising you to go ahead with the vaccination that you should get it done because these vaccinations protect your child from different kind of flu of course so which is why doctors say that you should get the vaccination as though they are not mandatory ones but still it is your choice if you want to go ahead with it
