Q.

Hello I'm Harpreet, and i have a daughter. she is quite active child, but she don't eat much food . her routine is like she is happy to have milk but don't eat meals on time. she normally eats 2-4 bits before going school, not aware how much she eats in school. And at lunch she is happy to have small snacks.. with milk. only at dinner time i manage to give her a chapati . Really worried about her eating pattern , kindly suggest something. thanks Regards

A. hi as such no need to worry Because it is common among school going kids to skip meal for a day . but as it is growing phase ,here I suggest some tips to make your child eat better which may help : serve healthy breakfast. to encourage your child for this ,you can use paneer ,green peas ,carrot ,etc as ingredient of breakfast for example you can prepare upma with green peas and carrots in it . you can prepare paneer chilla and serve it with cheese. give tiny piece of ginger with pinch of salt and few drops of lemon juice daily before half an hour of meal time. or give few sips of water. it will help to boost your child metabolism.
