Q.

Hello, i have travelled and moved to New location where I got my Son vaccinated for hepatitis A. they gave him vaccine on lower arm and said it is subcutaneous only. vaccine was Biovac A. Now am worried if they have given vaccine on correct site. please guide.

A. the vaccinated is as per schedule of 1 year old. i traveled to new location and so the clinic is new. am only worried about the vaccination site. can you please guide if that is okay as it's given in lower arm. Biovac A is the vaccine. Thanks

A. All the vaccination should be given according to the vaccination schedule whether the government or IAP schedule you can discuss with your pediatrician regarding the details of the vaccination. Pulse polio immunization programme is provided by the government to all children below 5 years of age. if your child has received polio vaccine before then also you should give this vaccine on the the pulse polio day as this is an additioncsal vaccine.

A. good evening it does not make any difference where vaccination has been given to the child it is absolutely fine even if it is been given on the side but it was not given earlier it will not make any difference
