Hello, I have a 14 months daughter. Any opinions whether lactating mothers can take the Covid Vaccine? Any suggestions?? please share your thoughts/inputs.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. according to the current guidelines the recommendatiosen for lactating mothers pregnant women and children is not there for covid-19 vaccine so it cannot be given to these category of people so wait

Mostly doctors are recommending not to take vaccination if you are a breastfeeding mother or during pregnancy. Because there are no studies available till now which can prove that it is totally safe to get vaccinated. Still you are going for vaccination then you should first consult with your doctor about it
