Q.

Hello, I had delivered my baby via c-section in January this year but I my periods hasn’t come since then….can u please guide what can I do in this regard….is it normal or do I need some medication? Thanks in advance

A. hi mom delayed period can be due to multiple reasons such as lactation undiagnosed pregnancy hormonal imbalance etc so u need to consult with your doctor for details history and examination

A. If you are breastfeeding your baby, your periods may not return for several months after childbirth. This is because the hormone that causes you to make milk, prolactin, also stops you from ovulating and having your period. If you are breastfeeding day and night, it can be up to a year before your period returns.
