hello, I am tested covid positive and I have 3 months old baby... is it okay to breast feed as usual and do other activities with safety precautions ? do babies get Infected as well... wat else should be taken care pls suggest m worried of baby

A. You can give your baby expressed breast milk. Wash your hands before and after you touch your baby. Wear a mask or cloth face covering while nursing. Wash your hands before touching the breast pump or bottle parts. Clean all parts after each use. Let someone else in your household who is not sick give your baby your expressed breast milk. Limit close face to face contact with your baby and cough or sneeze into a tissue. When you are not feeding your baby, try to stay atleast 6 feet away from your baby as much as possible.
