A. Hai good evening !! Baby's present weight ?? In general babies gain 400-900 gm per month ,by 5-6 months they will double their birth weight. Breast milk or formula milk is suggested until 5 complete months ,feed every two hours and on demand also. Proper sleep of 14-18 hours a day is important as sleep impacts on growth. If baby is not gaining weight then check if baby getting enough feed or not.. Have lactating foods,more water to improve milk production. Tummy looks flat ,baby crying even after feed ,not sleeping well,not gaining weight are the symptoms of not getting enough feed.
