To relieve constipation, it is important to include fibrous food like variety of seasonal vegetables, green leafy vegetables and fruits, carrot cucumber , beetroot, papaya, apple, peach, banana, prunes
whole fruit is better than fruit juice
soaked dry fruits like black currant , date , figs, nuts like almond, walnut
give whole grains like daliya, whole pulses, beans, sprouts
avoid refined grains, biscuits and frequent use of bread
boiled and cooled water intake
good fluid intake in form of buttermilk, coconut water
encourage at least one hour of outdoor play as physical activity relieves constipation.
