#AsktheExperts my baby is 4 months old, normally he passes stool in every 2 or 3 days since birth. but from last 24 hours he is passing stool whenever he is feeding . is it normal?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. 4 months baby passing stool immediately after feeding It is quite common that in small babies they will be passing motion immediately after taking feeding this is because of gastrocolic reflex present in the babies no need to worry about this as the baby is growing in the age it will disappear

Yes this is very much normal in babies to pass out stool after every feed. So no need to worry. If ur baby is active and comfortable otherwise, passing out urine 6-8 times in a day, accepting feeds then no need to worry
