Q.

hello every day I am worrying so much about my child he is 5months old he has green veins on head and corner of eyes and having spider veins on eyelids and cheeks and back of his head there is a small gap between the bones all these are worrying me so much is these normal??

A. they are normal veins they are fontanelle and usually they will close by maximum 18 months of age and only sometimes by 2 years of age. they are normally present in all infants and is important for the development growth of the brain it is important to see that the child is not suffering from calcium and vitamin d deficiency as well as the child is not having any other complaints because their deficiency is the common cause of delayed closure of fontanelle.
