Q.

hello dr.. was checking the vaccination schedule of my child.. the paediatrician that we used to go to initially has given only 3 doses of PCV vaccine.. initial two doses 4 weeks apart and a booster at 15 months of age..a total of 3 doses since we have shifted we have a new dr now who recommended 4 doses and says we have missed one dose.. I am a little worried as to what to do next.. my daughter is 4 years 9 months now

A. in the current situationcre it is advisable to postpone all the vaccinations of the child because it is not safe for the child to be exposed in the condition of covid so better to to delay for few months

A. If Your doctor is advising you to go for one more than you can go ahead with it but as far as I also know PCB has three dosages only and sometimes these days it is combined to 2 dosages as well different doctors are doing it in a different manner so you can go ahead with your new paediatrician suggestion as well
