Q.
hello Dr, My son 2yrs old has seizure after fever. Dr has given seizure medication. But after that he has some drowsiness.. he is not that active as before. Dr has given simitor syrup.. but after half and hr of given syrup. he has some issue. His motion is not as perfect as previous.. please suggest.. Do I need to consult any other Dr.

Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid preparations.
cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial tdddoo to bring the temperature down .
