Q.

Hello dr. my daughter is 6.5 years old. due to this lockdown she is gaining more weight. from last 2 months we are daily going to park. plz suggest some healthy food for daily routine. whenever she is hungry, she always ready for the chapati. plz suggest some healthy options.

A. hi please do the following things: keep offering different food items from different food groups like vegetables, fruit,nuts , pulses ,beans ,dairy products etc offer ragi,fresh fruit more encourage your child to do more physical activities like cycling , stretching , dancing , jumping etc. keep your child hydrated. maintain good hygiene.
