Hello Dr. My daughter is 4 year 10 months old she is unwell, she is having loose motion and also she is not eating any thing for the past 4 days She is just having ors of 200 mL a day I am worried of her What to do ?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomxhiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infectioyn which needs antibiotics treatment

Entrogermina you can give two times in the day for three days other than that I’m going to advise you that you should not give milk as of now that’s going to actually aggravate diarrhoea and if the loose motions have not subsided as of now even after proper medication then in that case you should get us to test done for your child
