hello dr, my daughter is 2.3 years and recently from. past 2 weeks, we are seeing lot of dandruff in her scalp. we do oil her daily and shampoo once a week. let me know how do get rid of the dandruff

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Dandruff is mostly because of dead skin over the scalp which can lead to itchy skin . It could be because of some pathological conditions too. Common causes are improper shampooing malnutrition fungal growth sensitivity to hair products sebborrhoic dermatitis . Proper care is required with medicated shampoo maintain a good hygiene and proper hydrationvrc . Consult a doctor for more severe condition .

Spoo Shampoo you should use twice or thrice in a week also I would like to tell you are the very same time that you should know shampoo the scalp of the child to Times of three times in a week in summer season you should clean the head properly during winters twice a week but during summers it could be three times are four times in a week
