hello dr my baby is 1 year and 30 days old 2 days before i started giving him buffalo milk by adding 1 cup water for 1 cup milk. but today from morning he vomits 2-3 times. is milk is not digested?

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. yes.wait few days and give cow milk.To increase weight you must add high energy foods like eggs paneer , soya , ghee in rice , khichdi etc.this will boost him ok.See with babies not every thing will go as per rules.each baby has her own speed to learn and that's ok

Animal milk must be introduced to infants only after 12-18 months of age because, unlike mother's milk, it lacks adequate nutrients, contains no antibodies that protect against infections, it is also a poor source of iron and can be harmful to the baby's developing kidneys.
