Hello Dr. My baby is 1 month 22 days old and do not pass stool since 2 days. He is passing Gas and crying and not able to pass stool even after so much pressure...pls let me know what to do as this is irritating him a lot..

A. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months . you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparhations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medicatifons are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .
