Q.

Hello Dr.... Last night accidentally the safety pins were left outside.. And my 2 year old got a hold of it ... She had one in her mouth... We immediately removed it out... I'm really worried whether she swallowed any... She is perfectly fine n normal... Although I don't think she did..But I'm a little worried... What shd I do? R there ne symptoms or something?

A. baby is 2 years old and you always have to be very careful that maybe around you baby has not followed the pins that it's all fine and normal don't panic unnecessarily

A. Hello ma’am If your child would have swallowed it then obviously it wasn’t easy for the child to swallow because safety pin is not something that is easy to swallow but still if you do not see any kind of discomfort to your child I don’t think so there’s anything to be worried about and if a child swallows something normally comes out into their child’s stool so you have to keep a check on that if you want to know more about it
