hello dr. it's been 8 months since i delivered my kid and i had normal delivery with episiotomy incision but still the area around my vaginal valve hurts while having sex. it's get sensitive and with friction the skin around that area becomes red and irritated and it remains like this for 2 3 days. what should I do?

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist2 years agoA. then avoid sex n constipation. see when there are skin lesions you cant comment online. best approach will be to show to to a near by doctor who can give opinion n treat.

it might happen because of dryness or Infection or friction as you have told.
so you should consult your gynecologist and get it checked.
try different positions to avoid it.
