A. Hello mom it’s always preferred to give home made food to the baby , such as rice and dal - you can make kichidi , vegetable soups , steamed and mashed vegetables, fresh fruit juice or pulp . Sprouted ragi porridge, suji Upma , multigrain mix ( rice and mix of dals can be washed , sundried , dry roasted and made to fine powder ) poha can also be taken and mixed with roasted black gram dal and made a fine powder and be used . Make sure you introduce the baby to new foods one at a time and in semi solid consistency only
