Hello Dr is it oky to take gynaecologist prescriped antibiotic in UTI in Third trimester 8th month.

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. If you are suffering from UTI then you have to start the treatment of antibiotics and complete the course and have plenty of liquids like coconut water butter milk and have curd daily in your diet abd maintain good hygiene take care

If It was prescribed during your pregnancy only then it is okay but if it was prescribed in the normal course of time then you should not take this medicine and also during pregnancy don’t take a chance always consult your doctor for all the medicines that you want to go for
