Hello dr. I want to break my child's addiction to mobile..due to no school n though there r so many toys he stil pesters me for d mobile to watch videos on u tube or download n play games

Uma RamMom of a 7 yr 1 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello good afternoon !! If baby watching through mobile only then hide it for a while (by keeping in silent) and act like searching for the mobile.
As baby is 4+ interested in paper crafts,play dough, colouring.
Engage baby in activities you or other family member accompany him by making toys with Dough, paper crafts praise him even for the little attempt which gives him self confidence, Interest and encouragement.
Gradually decrease screen time(1-2 hours) through TV at a time distraction makes them fussy, cranky.
