hello dr. I have a nephew of 5 days.... today he is quite warm... i check the temperature of him is 98.7... is this normal.... cn u pls help me

A. Hello parents,good evening Any temperature above 100f is a fever if temperature is less than 100f then no need of medication.feed your baby properly as well as burp proerply.continue with exclusive breast feed as per baby's demand

A. Maam 99°F is a fever right so right now it’s a normal body temperature still if you want I’m just going to recommend you that you do cold sponge so that’s the temperature will not rise in fact it will reduce so there will be no need to give any medicine
