hello Dr. I have a baby girl 10 days old. she is having rashes due to potty. kindly advice what to do

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. diaper should not be used for 24 hours because can cause diaper rash due to prolonged irritation of skin which may lead to infection or allergic condition. Most of the time if the diaper is left for long time matter in diaper, rub against the delicate skin, so you should change the diaper regularly every 3 to 4 hours and avoid using diaper all the time give diaper free interval in between always use a good diaper rash cream fwhile using diaper also use a good Company diaper like baby hug, pampers Huggies
