Q.

hello doctors. My baby is 3 month old and his doctor has prescribed looz syrup 7 ml everyday for a month for him because he is not passing stool for the last one month. Every time he is passing stool with the help of glycerine suppository and stool is hard. So my concern is, is it safe to give looz syrup and that too 7 ml per day to a 3 month old baby. Please advice so that I can start it soon and my baby can be relieved of constipation. Also please advise which one effective and safe to give to 3 month old baby, 7 ml looz syrup or 0.3 ml of figolax. Thank you.

A. Thanks Dr Sameer for your response. I have tried bonnison drops. It didn't work. Don't know what to do more. Am giving colic aid twice. It is not helping also. Exclusive breastfeeding is not possible , am giving BM and FM both.
