Q.

my baby is 7 months old he has extreme extreme extreme hard stools. doctor prescribed me to give LOOZ SYRUP to the baby. Is this safe for babies. I know constipation is common in babies, but he is very uncomfortable, straining too hard, not able to sleep, he has stone like stools. IS LOOZ Syrup safe??

A. ya it's safe if it's prescribed by doctor then it's safe

A. absolutely safe, my child was constipated too. his doctr prescribed him looz too till his potty gets soft along with maintain hydration, give fibre, i used to give him apple puree in morning that will really help a lot avoid banana

A. safe at this age the child should pass stool regularly. if the consistency is hard and the child is having pain while passing stool it is considered as constipation. give plenty of water and fibre diet to the child it is important to give fibre diet from cereals pulses vegetables and fruits avoid giving more than 400 ml milk everyday and avoid giving packket and processed foods as well as biscuits and refined food adding papaya , fennel seeds water , oats pear prunes pineapple banana kishmish to the regular diet will help in decreasing constipation
