Q.

My 8 months baby has rashes on his back. Doctor prescribed 2.5ml atarx syrup(100 ml) twice in a day for 3 days. His weight is 7 kg. So the dosage prescribed is correct?

A. My baby had an insect bite. She was 6.7kgs then. The dose was same 2.5ml. Mine was TDS meaning three times a day. Trust your pediatrician.

A. It is a very heavy dosage but the doctor must’ve advise you because of the issue that your child is having because normally a 2.5 ML kind of medicine is given to a child who is two years plus but currently you should just follow the instructions of re-check the amount of medicine suggested
