Hello doctor..what is the reason of rickets in 11 months old baby ..even after giving vit D regularly..He was exclusive breastfed for 6 months and after that on solids and breastfeed..

A. hello dear The most common cause of rickets is a lack of vitamin D or calcium in baby diet. Both are essential fo developing strong and healthy bones. premature baby are at risk food sources should be included and adequate exposure to sunlight
