hello doctor, this query is Behalf of my friend. she missed her period this month by 4-5 days .yesterday she did UPT pregnancy test and it is positive.today after gynaecologist consultation she did sonography in which sac was not found but endometrial thikness measure more than 18 mm. also BhCG blood test count is 2231 she is worried that it can be ectopic pregnancy is it really case ectopic pregnancy?

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. yes quite possibly. do a scan after one week. see more you can ask your own treating doctor. i am sure they will solve all your doubts and guide youyou can show the baby to a pediatric doctor who will check and find the right diagnosis and treat well
