hello doctor.. please can you suggest what type of food to take after delivery to reduce weight and belly.

A. Dear mum, avoid high calorie foods, processed and packaged foods, junk foods. Have a balanced diet having variety of food groups especially seasonal fruits and vegetables. Have lean proteins like eggs, beans, pulses, low fat milk and milk products. Have healthy fats from almonds, flaxseed. Have small frequent meals and adequate fluid intake. Exercise every day for 45 to 60 minutes and have an active lifestyle. Exclusive breastfeeding till 6 months helps to reduce weight.
