Hello Doctor, My wife is a lactating mother of 14 month old angel and 31 weeks pregnant. Doctor had suggested not to feed baby from now which is extremely difficult. I would like to understand why we need to stop lactating ?

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. because ut eill put a strains on her ok. you must try to eat healthy, lots of fruit and stay hydrated. take enough sleep and no stressCut on salt in diet. take lots of fluids and a high protein diet. avoid standing or sitting with legs hanging down.
