hello doctor my son is 5yr n 7 mnths old. we normally go for his eyes check up and found there is a cylindrical 2 and 3 no in both eyes. plz suggest why it happened n whats the solution🙏

A. can be a birth defects or can ve due Tv. In such cases you can talk to a doctor and get some blood tests done to reach to a conclusion

Q. Kid 2 years 10months. parents has spectacles. Mother has both spherical and cylindrical power(-6,-1.5 and -4.5,-3). Father has only cylindrical power(-3 in both eyes). Kid has no issues other than he sees normal printing at only 20cm distance. I went to check his eye but I ended up with big shock. he has higher power than us(-6, -1.5). But it is based on machine reading and doctor consultation. doctor didn't check his visibility by making him spell some letters or shapes. what should I do further or should I live with that prescription. please help me
