Q.

hello doctor.. my son is 16month old, not yet walking, he is looking very lean too.. today he tried to fall from bed facedown intentionally.. I pulled him halfway.. he was so stubborn so I pulled him with much force holding under his arms, lungs very tightly.. I am scared that holding him tightly will lead to any health problems.. sometimes even when I hold him for few seconds the wrong way he use to cough and make choking sounds..

A. See If your child has not started standing properly as of now you should consult your doctor because mostly by the age of one year and three months we expect the child should walk independently also keep your child on floor for a longer time so that your child can learn to walk and crawl and make your child sleep on a mattress on floor if you possibly can because that with the scope of falling down will be quite less
