Q.

Hello Doctor my son is 16 months old we introduced him chicken soup yesterday , we are based out of Delhi. He ate chicken soup very nicely yesterday but in the morning around 3 am I felt he is having fever. Not sure it's a normal fever due to weather change or some infection due to chicken soup we introduced him yesterday .It was cooked and boiled with other vegetable after soup he ate palak n roti in dinner as well. As of now I gave him paracetamol syrup as fvr was 99.2 Please advise if it can be due to chicken soup. Thanks

A. It can be due to weather change as usually if there is some food allergy loose motions occur but baby is only having fever so it can be due to weather change only so repeat the dose of paracetamol after every four to five hours interval
