hello doctor. my son has had this redness in his eye since yesterday. he is scratching it sometimes. does it seem to have some thing in his eye? do we need to see opthalmologist?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. if the red spot in the eyes or redness comes again and again and is not improving on its own in next two or three days and the child is also havizng complaints (watery and itchy eyes) then it is advisable to maintain hygiene of the eyes and meet your doctor for proper diagnosisz and treatment because it can be either due to allergy or infection (conjunctivitis).
