Hello doctor my sister's daughter is of 2 months and her in-laws are saying not to bath her with soap . Is there anything that we can use for bath for such a small kid or only massaging coconut oil is enough for the baby?

A. As a mom , these are the fears and it's so true that we get confused at one point or the other. There are plenty of articles on this platform too to read about baby care and how to choose the products. I used Johnson's Baby Top to Toe wash. You can try using Johnson's Baby Soap as well, because a good mood soap is required to gently cleanse the baby's skin

A. Look your sister can always tell her in-laws that the body anyways get dirty you know even if the child is lying all the time the child is passing and pooping everything into the clothes itself or a diaper or the body gets dirty it needs to be clean so I would recommend you to go for cetaphil soap she can check it is totally safe pH balance is good there is no chemical there is nothing at all that her in-laws should be worried about they can read about it because it is important to clean the body properly so that’s what you can do or you can use any good body wash under trusted brands which are specifically for kids
