hello doctor my daughter is 5months old iam feeding her banana and breast milk her poop was green in colour since feeding her banana what was the reason.plz suggest me

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. feeding banana stool will not become greenThe colour of the stool in the baby will be ranging from light yellow to dark green depending on the type of feeding a baby will be taking green colour stool is absolutely normal unless it is smelling bad are very watery inconsistency

As long as your baby is active and healthy, accepting feeds, passing adequate urine, no blood or foul smell in the stools then nothing to worry. If there is any discomfort symptoms then consult your child’s doctor for evaluation and advice.
