#asktheexperts my kid is 2months old. his poop colour is green from last two days. he is on formula feeding, not interested in breast feeding

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also.
it is also normal if they are passing stool more than 6 or 7 times per day.
if the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as the colour (the colour can range from yellow brown green to black) of the stool.
also straining while passing urine and stool is normal.
Do burping for 15 to 20 minutes

Shruti SuranaMom of a 12 yr 1 m old boy3 years agoA. hi dear mom....baby who are formula fed have green poop..only when poop is watery or foul smelly then you need to consult your paediatrician else else need...try and focus more on breastfeeding....baby should be exclusively breast fed till six months
