Q.

hello doctor, my daughter is 5 month old girl,but she is looking very small.she was full term baby but growth only up to 36 weeks.birth weight was 2.6.kg.she was too tiny after birth as compared to other newborns.now height 61 cm weight is 6.15 kg.is it normal ?? is she SGA OR IUGR baby??

A. no she absolutely normal weight should double the birth weight by 5 month of age Weight gain depeens upon birth weight and maturity of the baby if the baby is active and feeding adequately don't worry about it feed for 10 to 15 min from each side

A. Your child has more than double the birth weight already so I don’t see for you anything to Complain regarding this because your child is gaining absolutely fine as per the birth weight and current age of the child to their absolutely no problem I see
