Q.

Hello Doctor, my daughter is 2 years old and recently she was admitted in hospital for urine infection . could you please advice and suggest us how to prevent urine infection. i use diaper for my daughter only at night time. after this infection iam not using diaper for her but this affects her sleep and wake up and become very cranky. please suggest me what should to do to make her sleep without using a diaper.

A. Mam diapers are actually very unhealthy to be used in this age you should take your child to the washroom every two hours I understand it is difficult but initially it may be difficult but over the period the child will get used to me you have to make that effort make sure the vagina area of your child is always clean whenever the child urinate clean it with water and avoid using any public toilet for the time being and if you have to prefer using a spray like which is available these days to spray on the toilet seat
