hello doctor my child has completed 3 years and have started schooling too, but since last month she is getting repeatedly cold with severe running nose, the fluid is like mucous, what should I do for it? how I can increase her immunity?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. it is in diagnosis of allergic cough cold .
here the child will have regular cough and cold which is usually not associated with fever .
it increases and decreases but does not get cured completely.
dr will give anti allergic medicine usually motelukast / levocetirizine. if its still not improving the next line of treatment will be inhaler therapy with mdi / nebulizer.
allergy can be environmental (temperature variation -hot to cold weather/ cold water intake / dust / smoke / pollens) , food , chocolxate / packet preservatives food and sweet food also.
body cannot sustain such allergic changes leading to cough cold usually at evening /night and morning.

Sowmya MMom of a 11 yr 6 m old girl1 Year agoA. hello actually once the kids start going to school and when they are exposed outside and once the weather or the season changes the first thing it is going to happen is cold so it is very much common tried to build the immunity try some home remedies like add some pinch of turmeric Ginger to the milk boil nicely give during night time use ajwain leaf and use pepper and rasam kind of food items seasonal food items to give over all immunity to the baby
